Located in Greenport, Long Island, Silver Sands Motel & Beach Bungalows is the North Fork’s most iconic boutique hotel. Since 1957, our neon sign has welcomed guests to 1,400 feet of private sandy beach facing Shelter Island on serene Peconic Bay. Enjoy high-end amenities, exceptional service and luxury accommodations in our 20 Rooms, 10 cottages, or new 3 and 4-bedroom beach houses. Steps from the beach, our beach houses feature fully equipped eat-in kitchens, private gardens and outdoor dining areas with all the high-end amenities of a beachfront resort.
We have two on-site restaurants helmed by top chefs: Nookies, a casual diner recently featured in Conde Nast Traveler's 2024 list of the 'Best New Hotel Restaurants in the World,' and Eddie’s, offering masterful seafood creations, wood-fired Neapolitan pizza, fresh oysters from our onsite oyster farm, and a well-curated wine list.
