About Us

Porto Bello, located just outside the Historic Maritime Village of Greenport in Safe Harbor's Greenport Marina, serves as the perfect spot to relax on the North Fork of Long Island while taking in beautiful waterfront views and enjoying fine Italian cuisine.
Porto Bello is Italian for ''Beautiful Port'' and fittingly has a waterfront indoor dining room as well as an outdoor patio overlooking the marina. During the day, the dining room benefits from a crisp look with white walls, pressed linen, fresh flowers, and breathtaking waterfront views of Greenport's Stirling Harbor. In the evening, the restaurant glows warmly by candlelight. For a more casual feel, guests dine on our waterfront patio, or enjoy our weekday Happy Hour at one of our picnic table or by the fire pit.

Start your meal with our Raw Bar comprised of fresh local shellfish or you can opt for one of our small plates like our Momma’s Meatballs, Burrata Caprese, Saffron Mussels or Calamari Frito, which are all perfect for sharing. Our entrees include pastas and risottos, like our Linguine & Clams and Sweet Pea & Crab Risotto; fresh seafood, like our Montauk Tuna or Pan Roasted Whole Fish; and signature favorites, like our Lobster Roll or Filet Mignon. Our extensive wine list and creative seasonal cocktails provide a vast array of options to compliment your meal.
